We are thrilled to announce that Daal is now fully live across Sri Lanka's Eastern Province — covering Batticaloa, Trincomalee, and Ampara. Residents across all three districts can now order food from their favourite local restaurants and book rides directly through the Daal app.
The Eastern Province launch is a landmark moment for us. We have onboarded hundreds of local restaurants across the region, from traditional rice and curry spots and kottu joints to modern cafés and dessert parlours. Hundreds of drivers have signed up and completed their verification to serve you.
Our operations team spent months on the ground across the Eastern Province building partnerships, mapping routes, and training our driver community. We are deeply rooted here — Daal was born in the East, and this expansion is us going deeper before going wider.
Residents across Batticaloa, Trincomalee, and Ampara can download the Daal app from the App Store or Google Play and start ordering immediately.
